Doolgie ::Adopted::
Doolgie was abandoned on the street next to an apartment building. She was found starving to death looking for scraps of food by the dumpsters. Doolgie spent time in a foster home for several months in South Korea before traveling to the US where she’s now in another loving foster home.
A few of our favorite Doolgie things from her foster family…
Doolgie is very sweet and calm! She loves to go on walks and nap on the couch. She is pretty cautious of new situations and environments. When she first arrived she would stay on the main level and wouldn't go upstairs or downstairs. Now she goes to the kids room and steals their stuffed animals! Doolgie will snuggle, but also is very playful when she has a new toy. She likes to get all the toys out of the basket and then pick the one she wants to play with. She likes to play tug of war and will fetch, but most times she will just keep the toy to herself.
Doolgie is in her element when she is outside, tail up, tongue out with a smile on her face! She is great with kids and most people. She is very friendly when out and about and wants to say hello to everyone she meets. She was very cautious of going into her crate the first few days, but now she goes right in when we tell her it’s time for bed. Doolgie sleeps through the night in her crate and loves to sleep in each morning. Gotta get that beauty rest!
Doolgie LOVES chickpeas, more so than any treat, and her favorite activity, besides walks, is a long nap on the couch.
A few things Doolgie is working on…
Doolgie is a pretty calm and content pup! Her biggest hurdles are trying brand new things and going into unknown spaces, where she usually gets nervous.
The ideal family for Doolgie would have the following:
Children to keep her company
The willingness to walk her multiple times a day (her happy place!)
