So you wanna adopt your foster pup? Hooray! We love the match making process and are so glad you feel that your foster pup is a good fit for your family.
Next steps
First things first! Please click the following link and fill out our Adoption Contract.
Next, please submit their adoption fee via PayPal (linked on this page!).
Check out the information below regarding required supplies.
Once you’ve submitted the contract & payment keep an eye out for an email from us that will contain a Google Drive link with your pup’s adoption packet, vet records, microchip transfer info, and a link to their photo gallery. We’ll also coordinate a time for pickup or drop off of your new pup once you’ve acquired their supplies!
Aside from deciding on how you’d like to proceed with your pup’s supplies, you are now the official family of your pup! Please let us know which supplies you’d like to hang on to (if any!).
Supplies
The following items are required to be owned by the adoptive family. If you have issues finding supplies please let us know. Items from the dog’s foster care pack supplies are available for purchase or to borrow on loan if needed.
Dog seatbelt
Folding wire crate: Please check with us regarding sizing
Wildhearts will provide:
Leftover food & treats to get you started
Personal items: bed, blanket, toys & chews, hairbrush
Fitted martingale collar, harness, leash, Wildhearts ID tag, AirTag or Tile tracker, and a safety back-up clip.
Why? Because our dogs are flight risks and the last thing we want is for them to get loose (especially without updated identification). If you purchased a martingale collar + updated ID tag for the dog. PLEASE continue to utilize the safety backup clip for at least 3 months after your pup’s adoption. It can save their life!
