So you wanna adopt your foster pup? Hooray! We love the match making process and are so glad you feel that your foster pup is a good fit for your family.
Next steps
First things first! Please click the following link and fill out our Adoption Contract.
Next, please submit their adoption fee via PayPal (linked on this page!).
Check out the information below regarding required supplies.
Once you’ve submitted the contract & payment keep an eye out for two things:
An email from “Free Pet Microchip” to transfer over your pup’s microchip information. You’ll need to update the microchip records with your information.
An email from us that will contain a Google Drive link with your pup’s adoption packet, vet records, and a link to their photo gallery.
Aside from deciding on how you’d like to proceed with your pup’s supplies, you are now the official family of your pup! Please let us know which supplies you’d like to hang on to (if any!).

Supplies
The following items are required to be owned by the adoptive families. If you’d like to reimburse Wildhearts Rescue for your pups’s foster pack and hang on to their supplies (or just some of their supplies), please let us know! Pricing for each item depends on the size!
Leash with a strong clip
Fitted harness
Clip in dog seatbelt
Folding wire crate (unless discussed otherwise)
Wildhearts will provide:
Leftover food & treats to get you started
Personal items: blanket, favorite toys & chews, brush
Fitted martingale collar, Wildhearts ID tag, and a safety back-up clip.
Why? Because our dogs are flight risks and the last thing we want is for them to get loose (especially without updated identification). Once your pup has their formal ID you are more than welcome to donate their collar, ID tag, and safety clip back to Wildhearts for our incoming foster pups!
