A few of our favorite Frantz things…

Frantz has a way of winning hearts over. He’s playful, silly, and such a floppy cuddle bug! He’s been making progress with training and is great in his crate, in the car, on walks, and with the resident cat. Frantz is the kind of dog who will need to be kept busy with walks each day and maybe another animal companion to play with.

We think he needs his own YouTube channel to demonstrate how he gets his eyeliner on. It’s fierce! Our favorite thing about Frantz is how he literally melts into a puddle in your arms and can fall asleep in the blink of an eye. He couldn’t be sweeter, especially considering his limited human contact in the city shelter.

A few things Frantz is working on…

Like any puppy, Frantz still has a ways to go with his training & behavior!

He’s used to rough housing (hard!) with his sister and if placed in a home with dogs will need supervision as he learns how to be a polite boy (that means no humping, Frantz!). While Frantz does well in his crate at night, he has a bit of separation anxiety when his foster family leaves the house. Both Frantz and his sister had never spent a second apart up until they arrived in Portland so being alone is very new to him. Wildhearts Rescue will provide his forever family an info packet on how to work through his separation anxiety.
