PoPo ::ADOPTED::
In the winter months Popo was found abandoned by an illegal dog meat farm in South Korea. He was deemed “inedible” due to his webbed toes and a skin condition. He was tied up to a pile of garbage and left to die.
After his rescue he was brought to the city shelter was nursed back to health. Popo made a full recovery! His skin is healthy and he’s so grateful to be alive. Our partner rescue adores him so much that he became the resident pup at their mini facility. They describe him as charming and playful. Popo is one of a kind and is always smiling.

A few of our favorite Popo things…
Each day with Popo is filled with new discoveries! After you make his acquaintance or he gets familiar with a new situation he turns into the sweetest puppy with tons of energy to spend.
Popo is very food driven! He likes bananas and blueberries which are great fillers for his kong. Even though he can play by himself rotating through his many toys, he also enjoys playing tug with his rope and playing fetch with whatever you have in hand. He also seems to like empty boxes, like cereal boxes for example, and treats them just like another toy.
He is fascinated by squirrels and rabbits, which he and his foster family often cross paths with during morning walks. Bikes, skates, loud noises, children playing in the sidewalk, or other dogs do not seem to phase him at all. He loves going for walks! He gets super excited to go outside, even for a short bathroom break. He's been great on car rides and he's even learned to jump out the back seat by himself (on a leash, of course).
Popo currently chills in his crate while his fosters eat and sleeps in the crate with no issues. During the day he also enjoys hanging out on the balcony to watch the world outside.
We are obsessed with his beautiful smile, tinted eyelashes, long and low rider body with that giant head!
A few things Popo is working on…
Popo is super curious and smart but he is still unsure around people he doesn't know and takes new activities one step at a time. Popo prefers the company of women and tends to be skittish with masculine presenting people.
He can be a bit of an attention seeker, is sometimes stubborn, and can be a little too rough with playful nipping. He usually does this when he feels ignored or wants something from you. While Popo is generally friendly with other dogs he would prefer a home without another dog.
His forever home will need to be patient and committed to training to give Popo some guidelines. In the right home we know Popo will become the perfect adventure companion!
