Tiny ::ADOPTED::
Another match made in heaven through the Wildhearts foster program here in Portland! Tiny (now Twig or Twiggy) is already in her forever home!
Tiny was abandoned in a field all by herself as a young puppy in South Korea. She was lucky enough to be cared for by an amazing foster family in Korea alongside her bff Choco. Earlier in the year Wildhearts had plans to fly over both Tiny and Choco together but at their final vet visit we discovered Tiny had dislocated patellas (pretty common in some small breeds). We decided she should hang back and have the surgery + recover prior to flying.
from her foster, now forever, family…
She may be tiny, but she’s a huge cuddle bug who loves a good lap snuggle. Tiny (now Twig) has the sweetest personality and is becoming more playful each day.
She has improved so much in her leash walking skills. The first few days after she arrived, she didn’t want to walk more than 10 feet without stopping and refusing to move. Now she jumps with excitement when the leash comes out. She goes on longer daily walks and is working on becoming more brave when walking on busier streets. Twig initially wouldn’t go up or down any stairs, but she’s starting to get the hang of it!
Twig already knew how how to sit, and continues to impress us with her quick learning.
She loves to play fetch and run laps in her backyard with her 10-year-old human brother. She often ends each day with a game of chase (to wear them both out before bedtime). Twig loves to lay in the sunshine in the backyard. She’s a sunbathing pro!
She is so gentle with her kitty brother, Cheeto. She really wants Cheeto to play but Cheeto isn’t quite ready yet. (He’s been welcoming of sharing his house and family with her though!)
Her family loves how affectionate and gentle she is with the three of them and their cat. She quickly fit right in and stole their hearts!
