Yuri ::ADopTED::
Yuri was rescued from a hoarder house a few months ago in South Korea. Dozens of Jindos were kept there with the fate of being sold into the dog meat industry. Along with Shiho and 14 other Jindo puppies, Yuri was brought to the local high-kill shelter and we are doing our best to fly them to safety in Portland as space becomes available.
A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE Yuri THINGS FROM her new familyโฆ
Yuri is a super affectionate and enthusiastic dog, gaining confidence by the day. She enjoys chasing a kickball in the yard, scampering to catch blowing leaves, and playing chase and tug o' war with her gremlin foster sister. She has a sweet temperament, enjoys walks, and shows a keen sense of direction on our walks already. Basically a lovely girl!
A FEW THINGS Yuri IS WORKING ON FROM her new familyโฆ
We are working on building confidence in the newness of different micro-environments especially through our walks where she gets more fluent and confident with moving forward together. Inside the house, we're working on sit and "place". She seems ready to promote from crate to seatbelt in the car! An important thing to know about Yuri is that she is very responsive to encouragement and patience through the more nerve racking elements.
