Mini ::ADOPTED::

In the fall of 2019 several animal welfare organizations in South Korea came together to rescue dogs from the infamous and overrun shelter called Aerinwon. Over one thousand dogs were evacuated as the shelter was shut down and demolished by law enforcement. The shelter had been in operation for 20 years and when the population of dogs became too much to manage the dogs suffered greatly. Mini was one of those dogs.

Mini was rescued by the same team who cared for Munch & Midge! She has lived there a year and a half with no prospect of a family until now. Mini has a lot of love to offer and a lot of spunk to keep you entertained! Mini has the potential to be a pup with “little dog syndrome” and thrives on a solid routine and clear expectations from her humans!

A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE Mini THINGS FROM her FOSTER family…

Mini is unbelievably soft and is a cuddle bug! She really wants nothing more than to snuggle up in your lap and get belly rubs or scratches behind the ears. But just because she loves to cuddle doesn’t mean she is lazy! She is a spunky little girl and she loves playing with her toys and going for walks. She is learning to play with others too and does a really great little dance when she is feeling feisty.

Mini has learned to sit and lie down and is working on “place” commands with her bed. She adores her little bed and happily snuggles up in her crate when she needs to unwind a little bit.

A FEW THINGS Mini IS WORKING ON FROM her FOSTER family…

Mini has really warmed up to people (she knows they mean treats and pets), but the big world is a lot for such a tiny pup. She is building confidence and even though she startles easily. She is really good at confronting her fears (like the vacuum cleaner).

Walking on the leash is something that Mini excels at in quiet neighborhoods, but needs to continue building confidence in busier places and around loud noises. She is not a fan of things being behind her on walks, but every day she startles less and less.
